To celebrate the end of the Good Morning Britain and ITV 1 Million Minutes Campaign, we were thrilled to have a family we support appear on the show to meet CBBC and Strictly star,  Molly Rainford.

To raise awareness of childhood bereavement and the work we do, Deborah and her two daughters, Gabriella and Annabella, appeared on the couch with hosts Charlotte Hawkins and Judge Rinder to talk about Grief Encounter. Molly, who’s supports 1 Million Minutes, said: ‘Obviously, I am from a children’s TV background and as a young person myself I think it’s so important to have places where young people feel they can go and be heard and really have a space where there’s no shame and nerves about speaking out. With Grief Encounter it’s not just for young people but for families as well.’

Deborah also added: ‘Grief is forever evolving especially for children because there comes a point in their lives when something special may happen and it will remind them they don’t have those important people around them but Grief Encounter gives them hope and something to look forward to.’

Huge thanks to Molly and Good Morning Britain, Gabriella and Annabella loved meeting everyone!
