As an organisation, Grief Encounter believes in working co-operatively with other local and national services and organisations to ensure that we offer the best possible advice and care to bereaved families.

Some of the innovative ways we do this is by:

• Our National Poetry Competition – School children exploring their feelings, resulting in a published book as a resource.

• Our keynote speeches, training and outreach work empowering and educating professionals to help care and support bereaved children and young people.

• Our interactive website, including a Kids Zone enabling children and young people to express their feelings in a fun and therapeutic way.

• Our workbook – a resource for children to work with an adult, opening the communication channels.

• Developing further resources for bereaved children and their families.
